Events

Changing Minds with Pick up a Penny hold regular events both for fundraising and for education. We are a non-profit community interest company (CIC) and donations from fundraising allow us to provide more children, young people and adults with our specialised mental and physiological health services. As a CIC we are unable to access funding that charities are able to, so we really do rely on the money kindly donated by our supporters.

We also want to share our knowledge about mental and physiological health by holding educational workshops and conferences that can support and educate everyone from parents to professionals.

Our events are listed below, if you would be interested in holding a fundraising event for us or sponsoring an event please get in touch.

Yorkshire three peaks Sunday 22nd September

Embark upon the formidable Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, conquering the majestic summits of Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m), and Ingleborough (723m).

Typically undertaken in sequence, all within the span of 12 hours, these peaks stand as stalwart sentinels within the Pennine range. They gracefully encircle the cradle of the River Ribble’s valley, nestled within the breath-taking embrace of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Can you take on the challenge whilst raising money for an important cause?
